Looking for the best family condo in Myrtle Beach? Don't miss this Condo-World review for your family vacation. Thanks to Condo-World for hosting us on the trip.

Oceanfront condos on the beach at Myrtle Beach.

All the southern beaches have a different vibe to them. If you're looking for a beach vacation that has tons of dining and activities for your family beyond just enjoying the ocean, Myrtle Beach is definitely a great spot to consider.

The list of entertainment options in Myrtle Beach feels nearly endless but one of the things we enjoy most about it is the high ratio of rooms with ocean views that are available.

In other beach towns, it can be hard to find a hotel room or condo rental that fits an average family budget that sits right on the ocean with a gorgeous view. The tall, high-rise condo resorts you find at Myrtle Beach offer fantastic ocean views along with hotel-style amenities.

When you want a family vacation that is easy and fun, it's smart to choose the convenience of a condo right on the beach. To help you navigate all the options for your family trip, I've got a full review of the beachfront condos just for you.

Don't miss my condo tour video at the bottom! You can take a peek right inside where we stayed last weekend.

P.S. Looking for a safer family vacation this year? Don't miss my meal plan for cooking an entire week of meals in your beach condo. I included a free printable grocery list so you can have everything you need delivered right to your door!

How to Find the Best Family Condo in Myrtle Beach:

There are so many options for places to stay in Myrtle Beach. To help you narrow things down, here are our thoughts on how to find the best place for your family.

Why you should choose a beachfront condo resort for your family vacation:

When visiting Myrtle Beach with the kids, finding a high-rise beachfront condo resort is absolutely the way to go. If you haven't seen them, from the outside they look like a high-rise hotel and offer similar amenities but they are so much better.

Staying in one of these unique condo units means your family vacation will benefit from these awesome conveniences:

Full Kitchen: You have a full kitchen to make even part of your meals to help save money. It is so nice to be able to feed the kids breakfast or heat up restaurant leftovers that you can store in the fridge. At the very least, we stock the fridge with beverages for everyone. You could pop in a frozen pizza after a long day, such a wonderful way to save a little cash for spending on other things for your trip.

Privacy for the parents: 2, 3 and 4-bedroom condos provide separate bedroom spaces for parents vs. kids. SO much nicer than all being together all the time in a hotel room.

Full-size washer & dryer in the unit: Even though doing laundry on vacation isn't my idea of a good time, it is amazing to have access to this for emergencies or clean-up of wet and sandy or stained items before you go home.

Indoor/Outdoor pools for the kids: My kids love to swim, but they are nervous to get too deep in the ocean. It is lovely to have a spot for the kids to cool off on a hot day where you don't have to worry about the currents or jellyfish.

Beachfront balcony: Possibly my favorite part of the entire condo--the view! When I was awake before the kids, I could enjoy a cup of coffee and still see the ocean. When the kids are little and crash at night before you do, it's an awesome place to hang out with a glass of wine and relax. No need to gather everyone up to drive to the beach, you're right there on it the entire time.

How to find the right condo for your budget:

Now that you know you're looking for a condo instead of a hotel, starting your search might feel a little daunting. Myrtle Beach has so many condo options available along the coast.

We found our beachfront condo through Condo-World's web site. You can find and book a condo right on their site but if you need extra help you can call them directly and one of their local vacation experts will talk to you and help layout a few of the best options available for your specific trip.

Condo-World has the largest selection of oceanfront North Myrtle Beach condos available, so no matter what the size of your group they will likely have something that works just perfectly. You can find their North Myrtle Beach condo options right here.

Each condo resort has different amenities and features. I love that you can sort the listings in your search by:

    • price
    • number of bedrooms
    • view
    • pool options
    • pet-friendly
    • on-site restaurants

. . . and so many more filters in their results screen. They make it super easy to find exactly the right place that fits your family's needs.

What are the family condos like in North Myrtle Beach?

During our visit, we stayed in a 4-bedroom condo at Crescent Shores. You can find all the condo listings available for Crescent Shores here.

They have several configurations including 2, 3, & 4 bedroom condos at this property. All have gorgeous ocean views.

In addition to all the condo benefits I listed earlier, the specific amenities we loved the most at Crescent Shores included:

    • Both an indoor and outdoor pool with hot tub
    • A lazy river
    • Free wireless internet

The condo resort is in a nearly perfect location close to Barefoot Landing, Duplin Winery, Alligator Adventure, Pirate's Voyage, and all the shopping and dining you'd want for your vacation.

You can check out my full condo tour here:

And if Myrtle Beach just isn't your thing, Condo-World has rentals in Gatlinburg, Panama City Beach, Destin, South Walton, Pigeon Forge, Orlando and Hilton Head. We loved our experience at their North Myrtle Beach rental so much, I'd love to check out the options in those other destinations soon!

We stayed at crescent shores earlier this month, found on Airbnb. It was our family of four and our favorite family for travel, another foursome. The condo was perfect for our needs! All our teen boys had their own queen beds, the view was great!

I loved your video. We are staying at Crescent Shores in June. Do you remember what number your condo was? We are staying in N501.
