“Don’t just fly, Soar!”
SOAR /sôr/ (verb) — To soar means more than just to fly; it means to rise swiftly, to feel the wind slipping below you as you ride it higher, higher, higher. Flying is just moving through the air. Soaring, though, suggests exhilaration, even joy.
Welcome! My name is Tiffany and I'm the Chief Vacation Planner for my family of four. My favorite travel companions include my husband Tim and our two daughters, ages 11 and 8.
For us, traveling is about so much more than just going somewhere. We're not just "moving through the air."
Travel helps us achieve a greater sense of connection in our family by removing the distractions of everyday life. While we experience new things together, we get the unique opportunity to teach our children what we feel is most important in life.
Traveling with my favorite people brings me great joy.
We moved to Charlotte, NC from the midwest almost seven years ago, drawn by the warmer temps and the long list of travel destinations easily accessible by car. Plane tickets x4 meant limited travel opportunities for us but now we love to take frequent weekend getaways.
I've been blogging for almost 10 years over at PeanutBlossom.com where I have shared a little bit about our travel adventures. You might recognize me from my top posts:
- The ultimate list of road trip necessities: 40+ things to keep in your car
- The “See One Thing” Rule: How to prevent utter disaster during a first-time Disney vacation
This spring I felt the itch to launch a site completely dedicated to documenting our travel adventures and providing inspiration for you to make the most out of your family getaways.
I want to help you create lasting memories with your family through travel and get more out of all your adventures whether you're flying solo or to a girls' getaway weekend.

Right now I'm most active on Instagram.
I'd love to connect with you there!
